Content Policy

This Content Policy explains what creators may and may not publish through MyFavLy. It applies to creator profiles, public storefronts, product recommendations, descriptions, images, links and other content submitted to or displayed through MyFavLy.

MyFavLy is designed to help creators organize and share genuine product recommendations. Creators are responsible for the content they publish and for ensuring that their use of MyFavLy complies with applicable law, this Content Policy and the MyFavLy Terms of Use.

1. Genuine and accurate recommendations

Creators should publish recommendations and descriptions that are genuine and not materially misleading.

Creators must not:

• make intentionally false or deceptive product claims;
• misrepresent their experience with a product, service, retailer or brand;
• deliberately hide information that would make a recommendation materially misleading;
• impersonate another creator, person, company, brand or organization.

2. Affiliate, sponsored and gifted content

Creators may publish affiliate links and recommendations connected to commercial relationships where permitted.

Affiliate links, paid collaborations, sponsorships, gifted products and other material commercial relationships must be disclosed clearly where required.

3. Illegal content

Content that is illegal under applicable law is not permitted on MyFavLy.

This includes content, products or links whose publication, promotion, sale or distribution is unlawful in the relevant circumstances.

MyFavLy may restrict access to or remove content when it determines that the content violates applicable law, receives a sufficiently substantiated notice concerning illegal content, or is required to do so by a competent authority.

4. Fraud and deceptive practices

Creators must not use MyFavLy to facilitate or promote:

• fraudulent shops, products, services or schemes;
• phishing or credential theft;
• fake giveaways or deliberately deceptive promotions;
• counterfeit products presented as authentic;
• artificial clicks, fake purchases or manipulation of affiliate systems;
• other deliberately deceptive commercial practices.

5. Dangerous and prohibited products

MyFavLy may prohibit or restrict recommendations, listings or links involving products or services that create significant legal, safety or platform-integrity risks.

This may include, depending on the circumstances:

• illegal drugs and unlawfully supplied controlled substances;
• illegal weapons, explosives or prohibited weapon components;
• stolen or unlawfully obtained goods;
• counterfeit goods;
• products whose sale or promotion is prohibited by applicable law;
• products or services presented with dangerously false or deceptive claims.

MyFavLy may also impose additional restrictions where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or meet app-store or service provider requirements.

6. Intellectual property

Creators must have the necessary rights or permissions for content they upload or publish through MyFavLy.

Creators must not knowingly publish content that:

• infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights;
• uses another person's protected content without authorization;
• falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation or authorization by a brand or rights holder.

Rights holders and other affected persons may report suspected intellectual-property violations through MyFavLy's reporting mechanism or by contacting MyFavLy.

7. Privacy and personal information

Creators must respect the privacy and personal rights of others.

Creators must not knowingly publish:

• highly sensitive personal information about another person without a lawful basis;
• private contact information, credentials or other information intended to facilitate harassment, fraud or unauthorized access;
• content that unlawfully violates another person's privacy or data protection rights.

8. Harassment, threats and abusive content

MyFavLy must not be used to publish credible threats, targeted harassment or content intended to facilitate violence against another person.

Content that unlawfully attacks, threatens or targets individuals or protected groups may be removed or restricted.

9. Sexual exploitation and child safety

Content involving child sexual exploitation or abuse is strictly prohibited.

MyFavLy may remove such content, suspend the responsible account and, where required by law, preserve or report relevant information to the appropriate authorities.

10. Malicious links and technical abuse

Creators must not publish links or content intended to:

• distribute malware or malicious software;
• steal passwords, payment information or authentication credentials;
• circumvent MyFavLy security controls;
• interfere with MyFavLy or third-party systems;
• mislead users about the destination of a link.

11. Spam and manipulation

Creators must not use MyFavLy for:

• large-scale spam or repetitive deceptive content;
• automated manipulation of views, clicks or engagement;
• fraudulent traffic generation;
• attempts to manipulate MyFavLy analytics.

12. External websites and retailers

Product links on MyFavLy may direct users to independent third-party websites.

Creators should take reasonable care when linking to retailers, brands or other websites. MyFavLy does not operate or control those third-party services and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, safety, prices, stock or commercial practices.

13. Reporting content

Users may report content they believe is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, prohibited, infringing or otherwise inconsistent with this policy.

Reports may include information such as the relevant URL, creator or product, the reason for the report and optional reporter contact information.

Reporters should submit information in good faith and provide enough detail to allow the reported content to be identified and reviewed.

14. Review and moderation

MyFavLy may review reported or detected content to determine whether it violates applicable law, the Terms of Use or this Content Policy.

Depending on the circumstances, MyFavLy may take measures including:

• taking no action where no violation is identified;
• requesting additional information;
• restricting visibility of content;
• removing particular content or links;
• suspending or restricting an account;
• terminating an account in serious or repeated cases;
• taking other measures required by applicable law or a competent authority.

MyFavLy's current moderation process is primarily based on human review. MyFavLy does not currently rely on a fully automated system to make final decisions to remove creator content.

15. Proportionate enforcement

Where reasonably possible, MyFavLy will consider the nature, severity, context and frequency of a violation when deciding what action to take.

Serious illegal activity, fraud, security threats, child-safety issues or repeated violations may justify immediate restriction or suspension.

16. Changes to this policy

MyFavLy may update this Content Policy as the service develops, new functionality is introduced or legal and platform requirements change.

The effective date and version shown at the top of this page identify the current version.
