Affiliate & Commercial Disclosure

MyFavLy allows creators to collect and share product recommendations, including links to external retailers, brands, marketplaces and other third-party websites. Some of these links may be affiliate links or may relate to paid, gifted or otherwise commercial collaborations.

1. Creator responsibility

Creators are responsible for clearly and accurately disclosing any commercial relationship connected to the products, brands or links they publish through MyFavLy.

This includes, where applicable, affiliate relationships, paid collaborations, sponsorships, gifted products, free services, discount arrangements, commissions or any other material benefit that could influence a recommendation.

2. Affiliate links

Creators may use their own affiliate links on MyFavLy where permitted by the relevant affiliate network, retailer, brand or platform.

During the current free MVP / Founding Creator phase, MyFavLy does not take a percentage of a creator's independently earned affiliate commission and does not guarantee that any affiliate link will generate clicks, purchases, commissions or other income.

3. Required disclosure to followers

Where a recommendation is commercial in nature, creators should make the relationship clear to followers in a way that is easy to notice and understand before or at the time the recommendation is viewed.

Depending on the context, appropriate disclosures may include wording such as:

• affiliate link
• ad / advertisement
• sponsored
• paid partnership
• gifted product
• commission may be earned from this link

The exact wording and placement required may depend on the applicable law, platform rules, affiliate-network terms and the nature of the collaboration.

4. Genuine recommendations

MyFavLy is designed around genuine creator recommendations. Creators should not present paid, sponsored, affiliate or gifted content in a way that is misleading about the commercial relationship behind it.

Creators should not make false claims, hide important commercial information, or imply personal experience with a product where that would be misleading.

5. External retailer and affiliate terms

MyFavLy does not control the rules of external retailers, affiliate networks, brands or marketplaces. Creators remain responsible for ensuring that their use of affiliate or commercial links complies with the relevant third-party terms.

MyFavLy is not responsible for rejected commissions, tracking failures, cancelled orders, retailer disputes, expired links, changes in affiliate terms or decisions made by third-party affiliate providers.

6. MyFavLy's current role

In the current MVP, MyFavLy provides the technology for creators to organize and publish recommendation storefronts and to link users to external websites.

MyFavLy does not currently operate its own automatic purchase attribution or creator-commission payment system for ordinary creator affiliate links.

MyFavLy may introduce additional affiliate, merchant or monetization services in the future. If this happens, the relevant commercial terms, disclosures and legal documents may be updated before those services are introduced.

7. Prohibited practices

Creators must not use MyFavLy to:

• hide or intentionally obscure a required commercial disclosure;
• publish deceptive or materially misleading product claims;
• misrepresent a paid collaboration as an independent recommendation;
• use affiliate links in violation of applicable laws or third-party program rules;
• engage in fraudulent traffic, fake purchases, artificial clicks or other manipulation of affiliate systems.

8. Reporting concerns

Users may report misleading, fraudulent, prohibited or otherwise problematic creator content through the reporting functionality available on MyFavLy.

9. Applicable rules

Creators are responsible for complying with applicable advertising, consumer-protection, influencer-marketing and affiliate-marketing rules, including any requirements that apply in Romania, the European Union, the creator's own country and the countries in which their content is directed.
